The interface of the layout manager
Create a colour scheme in the layout manager, edit, delete, import or export an existing one or apply the selected colour scheme to the current document. You can use the layout manager to adjust the colour and format of diagrams, tables and styles to suit your requirements.

If you are working with the assignment of roles, only administrators can use the Layout manager. However, you can also customise the roles and their rights. |
Colour scheme
Apply
Select a colour scheme to be applied to the current document. All tables and texts in the document are then automatically formatted. The colour scheme can only be applied to diagrams by updating them. The corresponding option "Update all graphics" is available for this purpose.
Create
Create a new colour scheme, only the name has to be assigned. The newly created colour scheme is based on either the current existing colour scheme or the Premium Layout colour scheme.
Rename
Assign a new name to the selected colour scheme.
Delete
Deletes the selected colour scheme from the Layout manager.
Import
Opens a dialogue to import colour schemes.

If you import a colour scheme with the same name as an existing colour scheme, you will be prompted to overwrite it. If you select yes, the old status is overwritten irrevocably. |
Export
Select one or more colour schemes to be exported to a folder of your choice.

To create a new colour scheme:

On the “*Premium Layout” tab in the “Premium Layout” group, click on the “Layout manager” button.
→ The Layout manager opens. -
Click on the button “Create” in the group “Colour scheme”.
→ A dialogue opens. -
Give your new colour scheme a name. After you have given a name

Click on “OK”.
→A dialogue appears in which you can choose whether your new colour scheme should be created on the basis of the current colour scheme or on the basis of the firesys layout. Select an option. -
Click on one of the options.
→Your newly created colour scheme is displayed in the Layout manager list.

How to apply a colour scheme to your document:

On the “*Premium Layout” tab, in the “Premium Layout” group, click the “Apply” button.
→ A dialog will open where you can choose between all created colour schemes which one you want to apply to your document. -
Click the colour scheme you want to apply.
→ The selected colour scheme is then applied to your document.
Note: Please note that graphics will only be adjusted if you select the “Update all graphics” option here.
Alternatively, you can manually update your graphics afterwards to present them in the new layout.

The Premium Layout comes with a variety of diagram templates.

Excel charts that you have created yourself can also make use of this function. The prerequisite for this is that the colours on which the chart is based are based on the Office design colours. |
Pages

The page colour of the complete report can be given any colour value.
Tables

Here you have the possibility to individualise the design of your table. The column highlighting and the bar colour can be set for all highlighting variants (previous year, current year, forecast and budget).
Texts

Here you will find information on how to adapt the standard report to your corporate design.
View
Preview
In the preview window you can get a first impression of the format templates. The preview window is activated by clicking on the "Preview" button and appears at the bottom of the Layout manager.
Expand All / Reduce All
Expands or reduces all objects in the list. This provides you with further information.
Help

Opens the help area that supports you in your work.
The list
Here you will find information on all available colour schemes. The pie chart symbol to the left of the colour scheme name shows the preview of the respective colour scheme. Click on the arrow symbol to open the detailed view of the colour scheme. You can then view and edit the individual components of the respective colour scheme. The information is divided into three categories: Diagrams, Tables and Texts.
The selected color scheme is marked in the Layout manager with the note “(current colour scheme)”.
