The change display in Excel

In firesys you can navigate quickly through your tables and highlight content-related changes in colour. Changed Excel data elements are this displayed with light blue highlighting.

The function

In the “*Content” menu ribbon, the “Excel data” group contains the functions “Previous change” and “Next change”.

You can click on these functions at any time. The document that is currently opened is checked for changed data in Excel. If linked Excel data in your Word document has changed since the last time the Excel data was updated, this is highlighted. You can then navigate in the document from the current position of the mouse pointer to the previous and next change.

	Good to know
	Execution of the function automatically navigates to the turquoise highlighted changes in the document.
